I moved to Munich 2.5 years ago to take advantage of the mountains (hiking and skiing) and the lakes (swimming and cycling). I have also discovered new sports (like kickboxing 😉
I have played some tennis here and there and actually started playing more regularly right before Corona hit again. I wouldn’t say I miss it, but it is great every time I play again, especially with Indra in Husum (;-)
I am currently working in my company’s home office in Munich. And yes, I am still with Google (for 10 years already (;-) now in the consultancy partnerships team leading our transformational services.
Aztec Indra Erichsen (2001-2005)
After being a banker for five years and working for the newspaper DIE ZEIT for one year (both in Hamburg, 2011-2017), I started working for my parent’s demolition business as the CFO in my hometown Husum.
Shortly after starting with the family business, I was offered a tenure track professorship for finance (2018). I accepted this amazing opportunity to teach corporate finance at Hochschule Flensburg (https://hs-flensburg.de/en/about-us) and really enjoy being on campus with students. Flensburg (the most northern city of Germany) is just 30 minutes away from my hometown of Husum and I still manage to work part time for my family business.
On the sporty side, I started playing golf intensively nine years ago and found an amazing new challenge and joy in this game. I am playing for the women’s team of Golfclub Wendlohe in Hamburg in the 2nd Bundesliga. My handicap is 2.9. The team website https://www.wendlohe.de/mannschaften/damen.html
I do not play tennis often anymore but when I play, I enjoy it most with Silvia. Even though she lives in Munich, we see each other every 2 months.
