Joe Tyler is a graduate transfer joining the Aztecs from the University of Iowa to play a fifth year of college tennis. Granted an extra year of eligibility due to the Covid pandemic, Tyler won 56 matches playing second, third, and fourth singles in his four years at Iowa.
Head Coach Gene Carswell said Tyler, a native of Colby, England, “brings a wealth of high-level collegiate experience to our program and possesses great leadership intangibles,” according to an Aztec Athletic Department statement.
