I am still in San Diego! I work at Barnes Tennis Center as Pro Shop and Front Desk Manager and as a coach.
As a manager, I do a little bit of everything, which is really fun for me. No two days are the same. I coach Red, Orange and high school programs. I am lucky to still be playing and hitting with all players! It’s always been the most fun!!
I am from Mexico City. My major was International Security and Conflict Resolution. After graduating, I did a dual masters in Public Administration and Latin American Studies (which I finished this spring.
I really enjoy working at Barnes. It has given e a chance to meet new players and pay back a little piece of what the sport gave to me. Aztec men’s coach Gene Carswell recommended me for the job. After interviewing with Ryan Redondo and Steve Adamson, I knew I had found a great place and wanted to stay.
I’ve had the privilege of participating in numerous programs and operations and I couldn’t be more excited for what is yet to come.
Something I wish my teammates would know is what a great time I had with all of them! I hope everyone is doing well and happy. I hope we can
